Black Iron Prophecies

A coven of elvish techno-mages — the vanguard of the Queen's army — is already in the city. If they open a portal between the worlds, the army will flood through in a full-scale invasion.

Rye's long-suppressed moral compass has dragged her across the Gap in pursuit of the techno-mages. But in this strange city, alone and cut off from all that's familiar, her lethal skills are useless — she needs friends and allies. Meanwhile Pete, sacked from the company he founded, starts looking into mysterious cat-nappings, and things get weird. Just don't ask about the pigeons.

The network linking the worlds of humans and elves is collapsing, threatening to tear reality apart on both sides of the Gap. The fear of impending doom drives the Queen to send her Mage Lord across to fix it. But things are never as easy as they seem.

To repair the network, Rye, Pete and Yllmae must find a legendary book, unearth the long-lost master portal stones, and cast the right spell before the system suffers a devastating collapse. Can they prevent a disaster of global proportions?
